There is Always a Light at the End of the Tunnel

Do you ever hear people say that they stopped believing in the Law of Attraction because their life took an unexpected awful turn? So, why did this horrible experience happen to them, if they only had positive thoughts? All I can say is, some situations are meant to happen in life if you ask for it or not. Still, this doesn’t mean it is the end of your life. A great example is Shania Twain.

Shania Twain (Eilleen Regina Edwards) was born in Windsor, Canada. Her parents divorced when she was really young but her mother remarried shortly after the divorce. She lived in a small house and had to struggle to make ends meet, eating only “poor man sandwiches’ for instance. Shania Twain found comfort in singing, playing guitar and writing her own songs by the age of 10! Her mother completely embraced Shania Twain’s talents and often made sacrifices to make sure Shania could practice her singing by paying for her lessons and gigs.

When she was 18 years old she decided to move to Toronto to focus on her singing career. She was working hard in a fast food restaurant to pay rent because from singing alone she couldn’t survive. Sadly, by the age of 21, the most terrible event happened, her mother and step-dad died in a head-on car crash. Shania Twain was broken but had to stay strong and putting her career on hold to take care of her younger siblings. Only after her siblings were old enough to take care of themselves, she found the strength again to keep on following her dreams and passion.

When everything goes without a hitch, where’s the challenge, the oppertunity to find out what you’re made of?

Shania Twain had many setbacks including her first album not being a huge success but she did not give up on her dream. Her first album might not have been as expected but it did give her a number #1 fan, Robert John. After he got in touch with Shania Twain, they started working together on her second album.

The song ‘Any man of mine’ became a number 1 hit and also got a spot in the top 40. After that, a star was born and it only went upward. I

Her story is showing how believing in yourself and working hard to reach your goals even through the worst experiences can still be enough to achieve your ultimate desire(s).
