Have you ever read the book ‘The Power of Now’? This is the most inspirational book I have ever read and it completely changed my perspective on life. Whenever I read a wonderful book like this, I feel the need to find out who the author is, in this case, it is Eckhart Tolle.
the Now is timeless and allows us to connect with the Being, and we should stop avoiding the present moment by living in the past or expecting the future.
Eckhart Tolle was born in Germany and had an unhappy childhood. He had this negative view of the world in a very early stage of his life, he was troubled by depression, anxiety, and fear. When he was 19 years old, he moved to England to teach German and Spanish. During his time in England, he was confused about his feelings and wanted to seek the answers and therefore started studying philosophy, psychology, and literature. From there he started experiencing as he calls it an ‘inner transformation’. He all of a sudden understood that understanding that being present in the moment is the key to being happy with life. In his book, he explains that the problem in our life is that we value our ego too much and live either in the past or in the future.
