Have you heard of the beautiful philosophy called ‘Yin & Yang’? I am sure, you have. This ancient Chinese symbol, stands for two opposites bad and good, dark and light, neither would exist without the other. The Law of Polarity has many similarities but did you know, you could use it to get what you want? And that it is crucial information for you to understand The Law of Attraction?

“No matter what good you do, it’s evil for someone.”
– Joseph Campbell

To explain you the Law of Polarity, I could go into science but as I am not a science student and more of a visual person, I would like to start off with an example.

The battery has polar opposite terminals, (+) positive and (-) negative. Hold these opposite close to each other and BOOM, there is an explosion. An explosion of electricity or light. So, if you bring this back to our life. When you experience a negative emotion and see the equal and opposite, positive emotion that co-exist with it, the emotion you are experiencing is routed and out of that births an explosion of happiness.

To back this up with proof, I draw you a story, which we are all familiar with. In terms of love. What if your boyfriend just broke up with, maybe even for another girl. This is a tough time and you are probably experiencing all the negative emotions that come with a bad breakup.

Can you just STOP for a moment and write down all those emotions you are experiencing. According to the Law of Polarity, everything is dual. Situations that appear to be opposites are actually two inseparable parts of the same thing. So, for every sad emotion, there is an opposite of a happy emotion.

To continue the story of the bad break-up, maybe the guy was always very possessive over you and you finally have your freedom back. Or always accusing you of cheating, and now you can finally be happy about not having someone making false accusations.

It works the other way around too! What if you just got hired for your dream job and you are feeling all these happy emotions. Go into the sad emotions, you might have gotten if you weren’t hired. Doesn’t thinking about the sad emotions you might have had, make you feel even happier? Comparing these positive and negative emotions is what makes the feeling of being happy greater!

You start to see what The Law of Polarity is about, for every reason that you feel sad, there is going to be a reason to also be happy. In order to let The Law of Polarity to work in your favor, you will need to view life with this new perspective.

Allow yourself to perceive both sides simultaneously and therefore open yourself to the Universe.
